Welcome to the Dickens Project Winter Conference at U.C. Davis!
The Dickens Project, founded in 1981 at the University of California, Santa Cruz, is a scholarly consortium that gathers each year to explore the works of Charles Dickens. In conjunction with its summer event, the Dickens Project also hosts a winter graduate conference. This venue is designed to give graduate students who participated in the summer Dickens Universe the opportunity to present their work in a constructive and professional environment. This year, UC Davis will host the Winter conference again for the fifth time. We look forward to welcoming you!
A distinguished group of graduate students and faculty from across the United States and abroad will be in attendance, including representatives from UC Davis; UC Berkeley; UC Santa Cruz; UC Santa Barbara; UC Irvine, UCLA; University of Southern California; Cornell University; Louisiana State University; Rutgers University; Stanford University; State University of New York; University of South Carolina; Yale University; Indiana University; University of Texas, Austin; and University of Iowa.
All Conference Proceedings will be held in Voorhies Hall, Room 126.
Non-participants will need to register at the conference in Voorhies, Room 156 and pay a registration fee of $25.00.
